Shit's been all over my schedule lately. You know how bad it's getting? Well, I can't go to Sakuracon now. Yeah, that bad. And so it's come to the point where I've once again been perched on my fraying little office chair, slaving my ass off endlessly for hours just to keep up with this shit. Still no progress. No progress with the exception of a few concept sketches which are just so patently horrifying that they will never see the light of day. I draw like a syphilitic juicer caught in the crossroads of an epileptic fit and an amphetamine rush. The very mechanic of how a line works eludes me. And don't even get me started on drawing humans. There is nothing to really inform anyone about, and there will most likely be much less in the coming weeks. I'm not saying that I have fallen into a relentless pit of anti-productivity from which nothing may return, but it's something like that. My teachers are piling on the pressure and money is tight. Just about the only part of my plan that I can claim progress on is that whole "getting in shape" thing, and even that's negligible at the moment. Just posting a journal in the hopes that this may serve to exonerate me from my own judgments, lest I drive myself further into this rampant normalcy. To fill my time, though, an updated project
